Rahul Dravid set to take over as Team India coach after T20 World Cup

Rahul Dravid was always the preferred choice for the BCCI but it looks like it took BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly to sit down and talk with the former captain.

Former Team India’s player and prolific batsman Rahul Dravid is all set to become the next head coach of the men’s national team after the end of T20 World Cup that gets underway on Sunday.

According to sources as quoted by news agency ANI, the decision to make Rahul Dravid the next head coach was taken after he agreed to take over the responsibility on the sidelines of the final of 14th edition of Indian Premiere League. Current coach Ravi Shastri's contract ends with the T20 World Cup.
